… for your momma playlist.
ON MOMMA ROLES. “Whatever you want, whatever you need. Anything you want done, BABY. I’ll do it naturally.”
Because playing dress-ups now include different hats, and roles to play.
WHEN DISCIPLINING A TODDLER (OR A TEENAGER MAYBE) GETS DOUBTFUL: “Just once, can’t we figure out what we keep doing wrong. Why we never last for very long. What are we doing wrong.”
I’m telling you, it’s a test of faith, patience, and perseverance.
WHEN THOUGHTS OF GIVING UP ARE CRIPPLING IN: “Hey! I’m not giving up today. There’s nothing getting in my way. And if you knock-knock me over. I will get back up again.”
Because it is soooo true – they’re all depending on me.
OH, EVERY SINGLE DAY: “Oh, baby, what you’ve done to me. You make me feel so good inside”
But at the end of the day, Motherhood can actually be fulfilling.
ME LOOKING FORWARD TO (MUCH NEEDED) ME-TIME: “Then in that one moment of time. I will be. I will be. I will be free… I will be… I will be free!”
Mommas, what’s in your playlist? Feel free to share. 🙂
